"Blue gold" is an idiom often used to refer to water, to signify its uniqueness, to emphasize the importance of this non-substitutable resource of limited quantity for humanity and life on our planet.

And yet, “Valuing Water”, a global report published by UNESCO in 2021, warns of the danger posed by the low value our societies assign to this precious resource, and insists on the impending threat, because of its foreseeable, increasing scarcity.

The proposed installation strives to raise awareness of this issue, restoring this natural element to its true value.
