Manolia Skouloudi

Born in Athens, Manolia Skouloudi studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1966-1971) under Moralis and scenography under V. Vassiliadis. From 1972 to 1976, she attended painting and lithography work shops (under G.Singier and J. Davez) with the benefit of a scholarship from the École Na-tionale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, as well as a work shop on synthetic materials (J.A. Cantes) at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d’Art. From 1976 to 2010, she worked at the Archaeological Department of the Ministry of Culture,entrusted with the conservation of antiques, the marking of archaeological sites, the drawing of archaeological finds and museological studies for museums exhibiting archaeological material (including the Ar-chaeological Museums of Piraeus and Salamis). Her work has been included in both individual and group exhibits.
